DebRA of America’s Board of Trustees invites you to join Mats and Sonya Wilander on Monday, October 1, 2012 for a day of tennis and/or golf and brunch, followed by an evening of cocktails, silent/live auctions, and 3-course dinner. This year, DebRA's 14th Annual Mats Wilander Tennis & Golf Benefit will take place at the prestigious Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, New York.
Participants to the morning tennis clinic will join Mats Wilander, John McEnroe, and a host of tennis professionals on the courts for round-robins, a fast serve and shot competition, and tournament for prizes.
Following a brunch for all of our guests, golfers will hit the links in foursomes on the beautiful and challenging Tillinghast designed 18-hole course. Snacks and refreshments will be served along the course, with opportunities to win prizes at certain holes including a brand new luxury sports car.
The evening portion of the benefit will begin with a cocktail reception, allowing guests to bid on exciting pieces in the silent auction. A 3-course seated dinner, music and dancing, awards ceremony, and a live auction conclude the day’s festivities.
Proceeds from the event benefit DebRA of America, the only national not for profit that supports the research for a cure and treatments for, while providing services and programs to those who suffer from Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).
